TOTS (Ages 4-5)

Our tots program provides students fundamental skills in the

martial arts while developing focus, discipline, self-control

concentration and a positive attitude. We emphasize respect

to our parents, teachers and fellow students as well as

stressing the importance of saftey and conflict resolution.


CHILDREN (Ages 6-11)

A balance of physical and mental training developing

self-confidence, balance, respect and discipline. Students

will improve overall physical fitness and focus, supporting

other sports-related activities and academics. Emphasis on

self-defense and life skills in a fun, postive, learning environment.



High energy classes for a great workout while integrating

our arts principles and techniques. Whether you are a

beginner or advanced student, our instruction is tailored to

your capabilities. Students will increase flexibility, endurance

mental health and technique while lowering stress.



A great way to have fun with your child, while helping

them learn better balance, coordination, focus and social

interaction. A caring instructor guides you and your child

towards these goals.

Newton Moo Duk Kwan

Newtown Moo Duk Kwan head Instructor RICH AHLERS is an internationally certified instructor of the Soo Bahk Do martial art system and he enrolled in the Moo Duk Kwan 1985 in Madison, CT. He has competed locally and nationally since he was a child, winning several competitions in Traditional Forms and Sparring. Instructor Rich Ahlers has been teaching for over 10 years, including 6 years in Springfield, NJ. the headquarters of the Moo Duk Kwan Federation. He trains frequently under the Grandmaster H.C. Hwang (Moo Duk Kwan HQ) and Master H.Y. Kwon (Manhasset, NY) as well as in Seoul, Korea HQ. In addition to his training in Soo Bahk Do, Rich has experience and holds ranks in various martial arts including Aikido, Jeet Kune Do, Kyokushin, and the former Tang Soo Do. He believes in cross training to consistently keep your body thinking and remain in good health. Newton Moo Duk Kwan holds classes in the NYA Sports & Fitness Center.
